We’re delighted that the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland (NMIS) has been awarded Project of the Year at the Learning Places Scotland Awards.

The Project of the Year category recognises the very best in Education design in Scotland.
NMIS, a multi-award winning project is an exemplar example of an industry-led international centre of manufacturing expertise where industry, academia and the public-sector support bodies work together to transform skills, productivity and innovation making Scotland a global leader in advanced manufacturing and a magnet for investment. Working in collaboration with our client the University of Strathclyde, our team designed an energy carbon neutral facility that provides a high-quality environment that supports healthy working, fosters collaboration and promotes sustainability.
Claire Wakelin, Director, Head of Education who was there to receive the award alongside Project Lead for NMIS and Design Director, Ross Barrett said, “I’m delighted to be up in Scotland to receive this award in what has been an exceptional year for us delivering significant design-focused projects in the education sector. NMIS demonstrates our expertise in sustainable design and focus on social value. Congratulations to the winners.”
