Buwani is a senior sustainability consultant with over 10 years of experience within the construction industry, where she has worked in environmental consultancy and architecture.

She has a keen interest in exploring the role of architectural design in minimising carbon emissions and focuses on combining established technical assessments with the iterative process of design to form sustainable solutions that are unique.

As an Associate Member of the Energy Institute and an Accredited Thermal Bridge Assessor with experience ranging from thermal modelling and daylight analysis to carrying out post occupancy evaluations and energy audits, Buwani is well placed to provide guidance on the design and delivery of sustainable buildings.

She has experience working on projects based in the UK and abroad across residential, commercial, education, healthcare and leisure sectors.

Buwani loves walking, particularly in Scotland. She recently climbed the most northerly of the Munros in the Scottish Highlands and has also visited “the most remote pub in the UK” in Inverie, Mallaig.
