A split site expansion of an OFSTED Outstanding primary and nursery school, doubling capacity to 3FE / 680 pupils across two sites. The proposals demonstrate an innovative typology integrating key themes such as sustainable design and connectivity to natural learning environments. All spaces offer direct connections to the central courtyard-play space via a wrap around walkway with a shallow-plan dual-aspect classroom arrangement. The massing break apart to form the entrance gateway with a strong sense of Sudbourne’s identity and link through to the protected courtyard.
