After graduating in India with his final year project being selected amongst the top three nationwide and completing a Master’s in Environmental Design with Distinction, Moinak joined HLM in 2009. Since then, Moinak has worked in the Healthcare, Education, Defence, and Living & Communities Sectors through all workstages, and has developed a wealth of experience and knowledge through complex projects.

As well as leading projects, Moinak’s other roles involve engaging with teams, clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that the best design standards are sought as a Sustainability Champion. Moinak also assists in the advancement of skills and staff progression by developing leadership pathways through HLM’s Academy framework.

Over the years, Moinak has brought many innovative ideas to the practice, was instrumental in introducing BIM to HLM, and delivered HLM’s first BIM project. He has always exercised a keen foresight and understanding of the industry’s direction of travel, and as an Associate Moinak will be analysing new trends and industry standards, using technology to develop systems that will help meet targets proactively, efficiently and with exemplary communication.

Did you know?

Moinak is an enthusiastic hiker, enjoys long distance walking and wild camping. He is currently planning to walk the Land’s End to John O’ Groats route, 1100 miles! Apart from enjoying the great outdoors, Moinak is a keen artist and loves reading.
