Our Managing Director Karen Mosley is currently the 114th President of the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce. She has made opportunity and empowering the next generation her priority during her presidency year – unlocking untapped potential across our communities and helping to break down barriers.
Karen has focussed her President’s Reception this year on supporting some amazing charities working to address inequality in Sheffield. Here is what she has to say….
“It takes a village to raise a child….
… and Sheffield is the largest village I know!
Full of passionate individuals and businesses. All wanting the best for the next generation. Our next generation. I’ve seen this in spades in the last year, particularly around skills development.
But it starts with the basics. Food warmth shelter support security belonging. Things we can often take for granted. That give everyone the foundation to thrive.
And that’s why I’d really love to see you at our Sheffield Chamber of Commerce President’s Reception. We’re not looking for you to buy a table. It’s not a dinner full of glitz. It’s a free to attend gathering for like minded people who can really make a difference. Together. Connected.
