We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for three categories in the annual Building Awards 2020, which recognise top performing companies and best practice across the built environment.
The three awards we have been named finalists for include Architectural Practice of the Year, the Digital Construction Award, in recognition of our Thoughtful Design Toolkit, and Delivering Social Value, which we entered along with Sir Robert McAlpine.
The toolkit, which launched in June this year, is an innovative suite of tools that uses technology and data to help clients and designers define, develop, and assess their building projects in an evidence-based way.
Richard O’Neil, Chairman HLM Architects, said: “Being named a finalist for these three accolades is a great testament to the hard work of our team and our business colleagues. This year has been a challenging one for our industry, but it has also presented a unique opportunity for us to innovate, learn and grow. Equally, it is rewarding to see our toolkit being recognised and celebrated for what it has already managed to achieve, helping designers overcome the challenges they face in the creation of the built environment.”
Today’s Building Awards shortlisting ceremony took place virtually on building.co.uk, with the main event that will unveil the winners taking place online on 3 November.
