We are pleased to announce that Anna Kiho, Associate from HLM’s London studio, has been selected as one of the judges for the British Homes Awards 2021.
“I am honoured to be part of the panel with many leading voices in the sector and to have a chance to contribute to the discussion what exceptional residential design looks like.”
Anna will join a panel of industry specialists in critiquing entries in over twenty categories, celebrating the very best in home developments. Covering all project sizes from singular builds to over 100 homes, the British Homes Awards invite entries from home builders, developers, housing associations, architects, and interior designers.
Commenting on her selection as one of the judges for the upcoming awards, Anna said,
“Exemplar design should always be discussed, appreciated and celebrated, continually raising standards. The design quality of new homes has always been important, but this has become even more apparent after the events of the past year. I am honoured to be part of the panel with many leading voices in the sector and to have a chance to contribute to the discussion what exceptional residential design looks like.”
The awards celebrate the best in business, and allow entrants the opportunity to showcase the work they and their teams have developed over the past year.
When asked what she was looking for in the shortlisted entries, Anna explained,
“Homes that have been thoughtfully crafted, with the resident at the heart of the design process, but ones that are also highly responsive to their context, both on a local level as well as on a wider macro scale, making an effort to address the climate challenge we face.”
The winners will be announced in November.
