Noor joined HLM in 2020 as a qualified Landscape Architect bringing with her 11 years’ experience across multiple sectors both in the UK and internationally. Her experience in working closely with clients on designs means she brings a focused approach to producing thoughtful landscapes that have a positive impact on both the environment and communities. Noor has a particular interest in landscape-led masterplanning projects.
With experience in managing complex projects, Noor has a wealth of knowledge ranging in scale and workstage including masterplanning, urban design, public realm, park designs and large-scale commercial schemes working with both public and private sector clients.
Since joining HLM Architects, Noor has become and an Examiner, Monitor and Mentor for the Landscape Institute’s professional examinations and pathway to chartership process. Noor is an active member of the HLM’s Sustainability Team, and Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging group as well as the Landscape Institute’s Embodied Carbon group.
Noor is passionate about creating environments which have a positive impact on people’s lives creating landscapes that encourage healthy living and lifestyle whilst encouraging inclusivity and celebrate our diversity maximising play at all ages that both people and nature can enjoy in harmony for generations to come.
Did you know?
Noor loves the outdoors exploring. She travelled around South America, South – East Asia and India on a sabbatical with her husband and particularly loved the Galapagos Islands and time in Peru. She loves listening to live music outdoors and has had many enjoyable years at Glastonbury and other festivals. Noor particularly enjoyed seeing the National at a tiny festival in Sicily, Ypisg Rock a few years ago set in a scheduled monument over looking views onto the mountains.
