The Children’s Hospital Charity – which provides support to children at Sheffield’s Children Hospital – has received a donation of £33,700 from the Sheffield Charity Construction Ball.
The Ball has raised more than £400,000 for charities since its first iteration more than 21 years ago.
The annual event, which brings together the region’s construction and property sector, is organised by ARUP, HLM Architects and Rider Levett Bucknall and each year raises money for a selected charity.
This year’s Ball, held on June 14th at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria, Sheffield, was attended by close to 300 guests who were entertained by Yorkshire band Silvertones and host Jon Richardson – renowned comedian and patron of the Children’s Hospital Charity.
The money raised at this years’ event will help to provide a space which will transform the children’s experience in the radiology department.
