We’re pleased to celebrate our move up two places in the AJ100 2020 survey, ranking number 33. Carried out before the pandemic, the annual survey is designed to provide a definitive record of the UK’s largest architecture practices and recognises and rewards achievements made by these firms each year.
By taking part in the survey we provide data that allows the AJ to make key observations about the industry that will benefit the profession. This year, in light of the climate emergency, there has been an increased focus on sustainability and innovation with the survey asking a series of questions about the practice’s approach to sustainability.
Karen Mosley, our Managing Director, said, “Being recognised for our overall company performance as a leading architectural practice is testament to our team and the clients we work with.”
Simon Bell, Director and our sustainability champion, said, “It’s very encouraging to see the focus on sustainability. As an AJ100 practice we believe we have a responsibility to lead on the sustainability of the places we create to ensure as an industry we collectively achieve the Government’s net zero target. While sustainability is important to all of our projects we recognise the need for a step change and are now implementing a strategy to deliver against the RIBA’s Sustainable Outcomes, setting ambitious targets for all of our projects and crucially measuring the operational emissions and embodied carbon for those projects.”
