Last night, the Glasgow team were thrilled to take home two awards for the design of the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) headquarters at the Scottish Property Awards.
NMIS was awarded the ‘Architectural Excellence Award (Public Use)’ and ‘Development of the Year (Public Buildings)’ titles.
These two titles recognise the contributions that NMIS makes to both the physical and commercial landscape of the area, as a key contributor to the new Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District, Scotland.
Design Director and Project Lead, Ross Barrett, commented:
“To be recognised by the Scottish Property Awards and pick up two more industry accolades for NMIS is a fantastic achievement! A huge congratulations to our clients at the University of Strathclyde and to everyone in the team who made this innovative building happen!”
The Scottish Property Awards are an independent programme which celebrate the best achievements in Scottish commercial property and real estate.
These two titles follow our shortlisting last year for the James McCune Smith Learning and Teaching hub at the University of Glasgow, and 2020 win for the Whitehorn Hall student accommodation scheme, St Andrews.
