HLM Architects Shortlisted for Architectural Practice of the Year for 5th consecutive year
We’re proud to share that after winning Architectural Practice of the Year for the second consecutive time last year, we have been shortlisted again for the 5th consecutive year!
HLM Architects named as finalists for 8 Building Awards
The full list of our shortlistings this year are:

- Building’s Good Employer of the Year
- Project of the Year – London Institute for Healthcare Engineering
- Architectural Practice of the Year
- MMC Award – Trent View College
Three more projects that we collaborated on have also been named as Building Awards finalists:
- MMC Award – SMART SLA for Army with Reds10
- Digital Excellence – Ministry of Justice, Glider and Future Decisions, MoJ Digital Twin Pathfinder at HMP Five Wells with Kier
- Digital Excellence – Imjim Barracks Single Living Accommodation (SLA): SMART SLA for the Army with Reds10
Finalists in the Building’s Magazine Project of the Year and Employer of the Year for the second consecutive year highlights not only the inspiring buildings that we are creating such as the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering for King’s College but also recognises the passion and joy our team shares that continues to make HLM Architects such great place to work.
After winning Architectural Practice of the Year for the past 2 years, we are thrilled to be shortlisted again in this category for the 5th consecutive year, the pressure is on to try and win again this year!
Following our win in the Offsite Project of the Year for our design of the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS), we are delighted to see that our work in offsite construction has been recognised again in 2024 with two of our projects making it into the finals of the MMC Award category. Trent View College and SMART SLA for Army with Reds10 highlight how we are continuing to lead the way in MMC/ DfMA offsite construction to develop a more sustainable built environment and assist our clients in meeting their carbon reduction goals.
