Congratulations to Interior Designer Caitlin Cadman and Architect Jennifer Horne from our talented team in Sheffield.
Now in their 10th year the G4C awards celebrate the next generation and their achievements for change.
The awards are designed to not only recognize incredibly talented individuals in their commitment to the construction industry, but also to showcase the amazing companies who support, mentor and shape their young professional development.
Caitlin has worked at HLM since 2016 and quickly embedded herself in the interiors team. In her role as a ‘design champion’ she advocates for and ensures the successful implementation of interior design concepts and standards. She always communicates and promotes the importance of working as a team and drives HLM’s design forums allowing the continuation of quality innovative design outcomes that take our projects to the next level and exceed our client’s expectations. Most recently Caitlin was the interior project lead on the flagship Radisson Blu hotel project as part of the Heart of the City project in Sheffield. The new and stylish addition to the city’s hospitality landscape features a restored Victorian façade and offers 154 contemporary rooms.
Jennifer joined HLM in 2017 she is an Architect and qualified Passivhaus designer. Since working at HLM she has proven herself as an innovative designer who continues to develop her professional expertise in sustainable design. She has a passion for designing buildings that are net-zero carbon and is committed to delivering low carbon buildings. She shares her knowledge with colleagues enthusiastically and with humility. Jenny is an active member of the studio and helps to create an inclusive environment.
Philip Watson, HLM Chair said “Both of these young designers have made large contributions to developing our business. With perhaps less experience than many of the other members of the team, both have shown that passion for design and the environment coupled with an ambition to grow make them both capable of making huge differences to the construction industry and most definitely future leaders”.
Well done both we can’t wait to see whats next on your journey.
The G4C Future Leader awards take place at the end of September at the prestigious Leeds Royal Armouries.
Its sure to be a glittering event we wish everyone good luck.
