We are excited to announce that Architectural Technologist, Zarja Krevelj will be speaking at the Reimagining the Built Environment // Vision 2034 event in Glasgow this evening.

Zarja will be speaking on her work with the BE Change Makers Sustainability group. The group are currently working on Alternative Futures project, focusing on different areas in Scotland including Glasgow as an urban area and the Hebrides as a rural area. In her session, she will discuss what the future of sustainability could look like in Glasgow by addressing key issues like transport, housing, and social value. One of the standout ideas she will explore is the incorporation of an active travel plan into the city’s transport system, showcasing how walking and cycling could become integral parts of the city’s future infrastructure, helping to reduce carbon emissions and create healthier urban spaces and people who live in them.
Zarja’s presentation at Vision 2034 will highlight not only the technical innovations required to build a more sustainable Glasgow but also the importance of enhancing social value through improved housing and community spaces. Her forward-thinking approach aligns perfectly with the practice’s mission to design spaces that are both environmentally responsible and socially impactful.
