Urban Realm, Scotland’s leading planning magazine, have published their top 100 Architectural practices of 2023, and we are delighted to have moved up the ranks considerably.

This is a great accomplishment for our Glasgow studio, who have had significant project milestones and achievements in the last year.

Having ranked at number 26 for the year of 2022, we’ve climbed up to number 12.

This is a great accomplishment for our Glasgow studio, who have had significant project milestones and achievements in the last year.

As part of the feature, Design Director Ross Barrett identified the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) as the studio’s standout project of 2023. To date, NMIS has received nine awards and one ‘highly commended’ accolade across industry and regional awards, and is currently shortlisted in the Scottish Property Awards alongside our design for the Linac & Admin project at Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.

He also reflected on how post-lockdown ways of working have positively influenced our cross-studio collaboration, as well as looking forward to the future which we predict will increasingly include Passivhaus and retrofit initiatives.
