We’re delighted to share the news that we have been named finalists in 3 categories in this year’s Cardiff Property Awards.

Now in its fourth year the annual Cardiff Property awards celebrate the dynamic property sector in Cardiff.

We have been named in the Architect, Employer and Civic & Community categories.

There have been many notable achievements over the last year for the Cardiff studio, we have continued to grow from strength to strength and have expanded our team.

The flagship education project for Cardiff Council – Fairwater Campus started on site this year and is gaining momentum. We are proud of the new school which will be the first of its kind for Wales, co-locating three schools onto the existing Cantonian High School site in Fairwater. The unique campus project will bring together over 2000 staff and students and is set to become one of the largest, most educationally advanced institutions in the UK. Our local team of talented architects, interior designer and landscape architects are working collaboratively to ensure the new school will be the very best in modern, sustainable education buildings.  Another school project started on site at Ysgol Y Deri in Penarth, we have also achieved planning permission for a Primary school in Cardiff and for the new St Richard Gwyn High School in Barry.  Working across the bridge in Somerset, successfully delivering two new net zero in operation schools.

Over the past year we have taken part in more social value initiatives and found ways to encourage more people into our profession including attending careers fairs, sponsoring a WSA Student award, welcomed 6 work experience pupils and planted over 500 trees as part of the Coed Caerdydd initiative.  Always keen to encourage women in the construction industry this year we sponsored the Women in Property South Wales Student Awards, helping to celebrate and foster the next generation of talented young women working in the built environment.

Studio Director, Gareth Woodfin, said: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted in 3 categories – the recognition highlights the dedication and creativity of our fantastic Cardiff team.”

We look forward to celebrating at the awards on the 22nd of November.

Good luck to all!
