As our portfolio of offsite-constructed projects continues to grow, we’re delighted to have been shortlisted for three awards; two Education projects as well as Architectural Practice of the Year.
For the third year running, HLM Architects have been named finalists in the Offsite Awards.
This time around, our joint entry with timber specialists B&K Structures, engineers Engenuiti and supplier Stora Enso for the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) is shortlisted for Education Project of the Year. NMIS also provided the case study for our Architectural Practice of the Year submission.
Trent View College, Scunthorpe, is also shortlisted for Education Project of the Year, a second joint entry with the team listed above.
Anne Daw, Head of MMC Delivery, commented:
“I’m thrilled to see our offsite designs being recognised again, not only for the social value that they bring, but also for their positive contribution to the built environment. Offsite is becoming more diverse in its offering and is delivering fantastic designs while at the same time reducing the environmental impact of construction. This is definitely the future for design and construction.”
This is an exciting time as we see the possibilities of offsite manufacture growing, and close collaboration throughout the design and supply teams delivering inspirational designs.
Winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on the 19th September, part of the Offsite Expo. View the other finalists here:
