Anne joined HLM in 2009 and has since led multidisciplinary teams across education, residential, and defence sectors. Her design ethos blends thoughtful innovation with technical excellence. Anne is a specialist in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), spearheading HLM’s R&D initiatives to develop platform DfMA systems and digital kits of parts. Her work has contributed to award-winning buildings and pioneering approaches to sustainable, efficient design.
In 2025 Anne won the award for Women in Modern Methods of Construction at the annual MMC awards.
Anne leads HLM’s MMC delivery strategy, driving innovation in offsite construction and digital design platforms. She has extensive experience in education design, from primary schools to university research centres, and has contributed to defence estate masterplans and residential schemes. Her expertise includes stakeholder engagement, feasibility studies, planning submissions, and detailed design integration. Anne is also a member of the Sheffield Sustainable Development and Design Panel.
