Shortlisted, Sheffield Design Awards, HLM Architects, The Wave, Raddison Blu

We’re delighted to have been shortlisted with two projects at the Sheffield Design Awards and named as a Practice of the Year finalist, a new award for 2024.

The Sheffield Design Awards were established for the benefit of the public and City of Sheffield and and are given to buildings and open spaces that have excellent architectural standards and make a substantial contribution to the local environment and we are delighted to have two projects shortlisted this year.

Both The Wave, University of Sheffield and the Radisson Blu Hotel have been shortlisted in the Large Project Award. Awarded to a project with a budget of over £2.5m, the winning project should demonstrate architectural excellence while contributing positively to its economic, social, environmental and cultural context and makes a significant contribution to the practice of architecture in its local context.

New for the 2024 awards, Practice of the Year is chosen from all entries to the awards with an emphasis on multiple projects completed by the same practice.

We’re proud to be shortlisted alongside some fantastic projects from our region and look forward to celebrating with everyone on 14th November.
