Karen Mosley has been shortlisted in both the ‘Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Leader of the Year’, and ‘Inspiring Women in Construction’ categories
Formerly know as the CN Talent Awards, the awards recognize outstanding achievements of those working in the construction industry in creating a strong workforce culture. This year, the awards consist of 18 categories across individuals and teams at all levels.
The ‘Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Leader of the Year’ award recognizes inclusive leadership from individuals who strive for a more equal, diverse and inclusive workplace. Karen leads HLM’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging group, and from her role as Head of HR, ensures the business prioritises the fostering of a wholly inclusive culture. Her commitment to personal and professional development of everyone in the business is evidenced in her winning the ‘Equality, Diversity and Inclusion’ award in the 2021 Institute of Directors awards.
The ‘Inspiring Women in Construction’ award category celebrates those who encourage, support and develop women within the construction industry. Karen’s long history with HLM and growth from administrator apprentice to Managing Director places her firmly as a key role model in the business. This entry was supported by numerous colleagues who have experienced first-hand her mentoring at different levels.
Winners will be announced at a dinner on the 8th of November.
