We are genuinely bowled over and delighted that the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) has been selected as the SBID 2024 Regional Winner for Europe Region in the Public Space category!

NMIS scored highest in the judges scores within the region.

Founded in 2009, the SBID International Design Awards are one of the most prestigious interior design awards in the global design calendar.   Recognising and celebrating design excellence the awards are evaluated by leading industry experts for their technical content and aesthetic creativity while the design-conscious public also have a say in voting for the most inspiring projects.

SBID has revolutionised, innovated and challenged conventional interior design.

Andy Illingworth, Head on Interior Architecture said “What an achievement! Our interior designers embedded themselves in the design team from the very beginning and worked closely with them to create this award-winning scheme.  Both the exterior and interior design responds to climate change by using passive design features and clean, renewable energy technologies.  The finished design creates a high-quality, healthy workplace, one that exemplifies the best in featuring extensive natural light and natural finishes”.

Thank you to all that voted, we look forward to celebrating at the awards on the 1st November where the global award winners will also be announced.
