The results are in for the Best Companies survey 2023, and HLM Architects have made it onto five separate league tables across the UK and industry.
This range of rankings demonstrates both our ‘one-team culture’, as well as our strong regional presence across the business.
We’ve made it onto the Best 50 Mid-sized companies to work for list at number 39, the league table which encompasses the whole of the UK and all industries.
The survey, which is open to all employees to complete, gives individuals the opportunity to feed back on their working experiences. The survey is completed anonymously, with all entries contributing to the overall rankings. HLM’s survey responses highlighted that:
- 83% of staff agreed with the statement ‘my manager cares about how satisfied I am in my job’;
- 84% of staff agreed ‘my team is fun to work with’;
- 84% of staff agreed that ‘this job is good for my own personal growth’
It also noted long service, development and profit-related pay as key benefits for staff.
Managing Director, Karen Mosley, commented:
“It’s fantastic to be in such great company in the Top 100 and to be recognised in this way. This award is particularly important to us because it’s based on staff sentiment and feedback, and the insights we get from taking part help us to continuously evolve. Our EOT is built around being inclusive, transparent and nurturing, and with 200 people working collectively to this aim and wanting to make better places for people, we’re in good hands!”
Additionally, we were named #2 best Architect and Surveyor company to work for, #9 Best mid-sized company to work for in London, #13 Best Company to work for in Scotland and #11 Best Company to work for in Yorkshire and the Humber. We have also been awarded a two-star, ‘outstanding to work for’ accreditation. This range of rankings demonstrates both our ‘one-team culture’, as well as our strong regional presence across the business.
