Building Design have today announced the eagerly awaited shortlist for the 2024 Architect of the Year Awards (AYA), and we are trilled to have made the shortlist in three categories: Social Value, Higher Education Architect of the Year and Interior Architect of the Year.
“To be shortlisted in one category of the AYA is always very satisfying, so to be recognised in three categories is a great achievement.”
Organised by Building Design magazine, the Architect of the Year awards give practices the opportunity to showcase their expertise within different sectors, through submission of a portfolio of work.
Projects showcased in our award submissions this year were National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) and our work with Renfrewshire High School, The Wave and London Institute of Healthcare Engineering (LIHE)
Philip Watson, Director, Head of Design, commented:
“To be shortlisted in one category of the AYA is always very satisfying, so to be recognised in three categories is a great achievement, reflecting our broad design strength across architecture and interior design as well as our overarching ambition to focus on the social value of our work.”
The winners will be announced at the awards dinner on the 16th October. Good luck to all the finalists – we look forward to seeing you on the evening!
