We’re excited to share that we’ve been shortlisted for three MMC Awards this year!
The awards aim to ‘celebrate excellence and achievement in modern methods of construction’, with categories spanning across both domestic and non-domestic projects.
New for 2023, the awards highlight the important shift within the construction industry towards the use of MMC for a more sustainable built environment.
Focusing on our work on the National Manufacturing Institute, Scotland (NMIS) headquarters, our entry for ‘Architectural Practice of the Year’ has been selected as one of only two finalists – an achievement we’re incredibly proud of. The design for NMIS spans several MMC categories which work in harmony to create a unique, iconic flagship facility for advanced manufacturing innovation in Scotland.
Dinton Activity Centre, delivered in partnership with modular construction specialists Reds10, has been shortlisted in two categories; ‘Consideration of Net Zero using MMC’, and ‘Showcasing the use of Category 1 MMC’. The centre has been celebrated as a prime example of pushing the boundaries of ‘typical’ volumetric modular construction to create a net zero carbon project.
Anne Daw, Head of MMC Delivery, said:
“This is fantastic news! To have been shortlisted in all three categories really shows how the wider team is adopting and influencing the use of MMC across out projects.”

Winners will be announced at a lunch in London on the 10th May.
