The InterContinental London, Park Lane further strengthened our long-standing client relationship with IHG and saw the completion of the next phase of upgrades which included the refurbishment of over 130 guestrooms, deluxe suites, bathrooms, and corridors on floors three and four. Due to the age of the building, all aspects of the design vision were carefully coordinated with the existing building.

Design Concept

Concept drawings were developed through a detailed design process, allowing all aspects of the design vision to be fully coordinated with the existing building. Due to the age of the building, there were some constraints from surveys which were overcome by meticulous planning.

Continuing our successful relationship with our client IHG, we have completed the next phase of upgrade works at the prestigious InterContinental London, Park Lane – refurbishing guestrooms, suites, bathrooms and corridors on levels three and four.

Inheriting the concept design scheme, we worked closely with the client, interior designers and the project consultant team to ensure the design vision was achieved without compromise.

The scheme involved refurbishment of over 130 guestrooms, deluxe suites, bathrooms and corridors on floors three and four.

Concept drawings were developed through a detailed design process, allowing all aspects of the design vision to be fully coordinated with the existing building. Due to the age of the building, there were some constraints from surveys which were overcome by meticulous planning.

Our design team worked closely with the joinery sub-contractors on a bespoke joinery package throughout the process, reviewing manufacturing details, materials and finish quality. These details were also coordinated with the main contractor and services team, to ensure a high-quality end product.

Additionally, working closely with our client we collaborated with David Collins Studio to develop their concept and detail to successfully deliver the Ella Canta restaurant located within the hotel.

Jamie Wilson, Director and Hospitality, Leisure & Culture Sponsor said “Completing the next phase of refurbishment works at the InterContinental London Park Lane further strengthened our long-standing relationship with our client. It was a pleasure working with the project team and we are extremely proud to have helped deliver these luxury guestrooms”.
