The GIA’s focus is to engage with its members, to provide a supporting role, and to promote architecture in the Chapter area.

An associate in our Glasgow studio since 2022, Andrew is a valued member of the team and works across a number of sectors.  Most recently within the Education sector he has been working on various projects with the University of Glasgow and University of St Andrews.  He uses his skills and creativity to work collaboratively and is passionate about building design teams to deliver the best outcomes.

Andrew said: “It is a pleasure to have been elected as the President of such a prestigious and historic organisation. This is a new challenge that I am thoroughly looking forward to, and I hope that I am able to serve the chapter members well throughout my post”.

Lorraine Robertson HLM Director, commented, “This is such an important role for Andrew, I am confident he will use his creativity and leadership skills to provide strategic leadership of the GIA Council”.

Andrew’s new post will strengthen the GIA’s council and help it to continue its important work.
