Dan is a strategic Design Director in HLM’s Cardiff studio, bringing over 18 years’ experience shaping high-quality architecture, regeneration and master planning projects across multiple sectors. Since first joining HLM in 2015 and returning in 2026, he has built a strong track record in leading complex, large-scale schemes, with particular experience across regeneration, commercial and education environments.
He combines strategic insight, creative ambition and commercial awareness to establish clear design visions that respond to client objectives, user needs and local context. His approach is collaborative and outcome-focused, helping teams translate early ideas into engaging, robust and deliverable solutions.
Dan champions design quality throughout the project lifecycle, guiding clients and project teams from concept through delivery with clarity, technical rigour and confidence.
