Marcus has been a member of the HLM team since 1995, and from the outset he was quick to make the most of his CAD and general IT knowledge. His combined understanding of the Architectural process and computing helped us to develop early CAD standards and procedures, improving business efficiency dramatically.

From here, this rapidly developed into HLM’s Digital Strategy, encompassing all areas of Digital Construction and Transformation.

Marcus believes that the correct use of technology and digital processes can transform both the Architectural profession and the wider construction industry, as well as provide valuable efficiencies to the company.

As a regular speaker and attendee of Digital Construction events, Marcus is always involved in industry developments in technology use.

Marcus was appointed a Director of the Covalent group (HLM Parent Company) where his role sees him develop, lead and deliver Digital Strategies and Innovation across all companies within the group.

Marcus was a sponsored Skateboarder in the 1980’s and a professional snowboard coach in the 90’s. His passion outside of work is his young family and trying to force them to ride skateboards as much as possible.
