Russell Geary Profile

Based in our Birmingham studio, Russell brings over 10 years’ experience in sensitive, high security, and classified public sector projects, having designed and developed innovative and award-winning blue light schemes for police forces throughout England and Wales.

He currently stands as one of the country’s most experienced police and police-custodial architects, and has previously contributed to the National Police Estates Group design guide for police custody suites.

Russell has a strong belief and passion for considered and people-centered design, creating resilient environments which prioritise staff, end-user, and police detainee safety, dignity, welfare and wellbeing, typically in challenging environments and through trauma-informed design.

He believes in a collaborative approach, across related sectors to share knowledge to advance trauma-informed and neuroinclusive design, incorporating MMC for the benefit of the communities such facilities serve.
