Ryan joined HLM in 2022 as our Glasgow studio director, having spent the previous 8 years as an associate director working for one of Scotland’s largest and oldest architectural practices, strengthening their education team.
He has over 20 years’ experience overseeing the delivery of large-scale major education, residential and healthcare projects, as well as contributing to the technical and sustainability groups over this period.
Key strengths include leading multi-disciplinary design teams, working closely with clients developing designs from early concept stages through to delivery on projects ranging in value/ scale from £3 million up to £100+ million across various procurement routes.
Ryan is passionate about the importance of a collaborative, commercially aware, pragmatic and progressive approach to architecture.
