Steven joined HLM in 2008 after almost 10 years’ working on a major commercial projects in Dublin. Since then, he has built extensive experience across emergency services, justice, and healthcare sectors.
Promoted to associate in 2014, Steven has focused on “operationally-led design,” delivering facilities that are efficient and responsive to client and civic needs. He currently leads the justice & emergency services sector, which he has helped shape over the past 10 years, offering considerable expertise in secure environments delivering operational efficient and trauma informed facilities that benefit clients, end users and civic society.
Steven is passionate about designing spaces that serve both operational efficiency and community wellbeing. He values thoughtful, purpose-driven design and is committed to creating environments that support the vital work of emergency and justice services. His work reflects a belief in architecture’s role in enhancing public service delivery.
